Tomorrow will be the end of what has been one of the best series for option writers....although it made hedging fornthem very difficult becaus the Nifty was in such a tight range, that 17800 and 18200 options monthly were very expensive to begin with...but then no sensible option writer wud have written an 18k straddle to hedge with 17800 18200 strangle because the range was not locked in by beginjing of the series anyways...so it mustve been frustrating for option writers and absolutely horribke for option buyers...the only guys who mustve made money those smart unbiased traders who scrapped small clips of profits through the month...and ifcourse thise who sjmply sat out this month. Tomorrow might be the final act...and what a bettwr way for nifty to simply shick everyone by bursting out of its range out of nowhwre....imagine this...quiet or 50 pt up or down ajd suddenly massive vol spike followed by a masive move and nifty either close above 18300 or below 17700 with strong candles of the type that leaves very little room for doubt...that my friend is my dream...it wud be a shame if we just meandered towards a 50 point pkus or minus expiry...life mein josh chahiye!
