my max loss in option writing in case of 1k crash is 50 lakhs :P as I have more than enough no of puts of 5k to 5.5k
both this and next month. I will allow them to expire at zero though as they are my safety net... 14 comments

buddy this benchmark is preferable rather than going bankrupt. its for stress test actually. test if your hedges are effective in case of 1k crash 14 comments

Help maintain the authenticity of Moneycontrol Message Board, discourage offensive messages. 
Offensive Messages
On clicking the Offensive alert against a message boarders will be able to alert the MMB Team as & when they find a particular message offensive. If any boarder spots a message offending one's sensibilities he can click on the offensive icon the message will disappear from the board.
These messages will be later screened & the final deletion will be solely based on the MMB Moderator discretion. Guests, New boarders and flagged boarders will not be given these privileges.
Note *If any boarder is found misusing this right MMB Moderator reserves the right to revoke the boarders auto publishing rights; we will also block IP's.

btw the trick in writing options is by their implied volatility if implied volatility is high for otm options write them and buy itm options which will have lesser volatility. as volatility dies otm options will shed their time as well as volati... See more 4 comments
