in quantum mechanics the observer when observed leads to decoherence and since the observer itself is material can be measured and hence a subject of science but when the observer is non-material, consciousness, it cannot be measured and hence outside of science but very much a part of the religion.

science and religion are indeed different and there is a lot of debate within quantum mechanics on the role of external non-matter observer.

I thought FII exited some of pharma stocks so there is a negative net sell figure.

Reliance is a potential reversal candidate, 780 looks to be the reversal point with high volumes on daily chart, candlestick chart shows hammer in a downtrend, future shorts were reduced in May series and long futures added in June series with a premium. Rise to 806 may not see much resistance.

My mistake: I thought it was CPM which made allegation about RIL. CPI carries much lower weight in national politics.

I believe CPI. This is what corporates always do -- try to get away with all they can, especially if the govt at the centre is on life support. Now what will happen to share price of RIL? CPI allegation would have hardly made an impact three months ago but now Congress (AK Antony to be specific) is reaching out to CPI like in 2004. So govt may be forced to look into the allegation and that could impact RIL stock price for the time being, but could it neutralize the gas discovery news?

Other competing factor for RIL price move: The general warning about emerging market equities and the fact that FIIs were marginal net sellers as markets rose on Friday. FIIs selling in cash as the markets rising has never been good. This usually means they are selling rallies. If both Monday and Tuesday they are net sellers I would look for a 400-500 points fall on Nifty.

I may be laughed at but I am optimistic. I think within a decade or two Indian water scarcity will be a thing of the past due to an energy revolution -- because cheap or free energy will enable us to desalinate sea water easily and pump it hundreds of kilometres inland. But the interim period will be one of uncertainty.

Even the belief in global warming is being seriously questioned. I had read about it first in 2011 when a Princeton professor had published his study that it was global cooling that was about to occur. At that time I dismissed the study as something concocted to justify Obama`s oil and gas exploration push. But recently more and more studies are confirming that. All studies say that CO2 is rising but that this is not the only criterion. They say that solar activities also play a factor in global temperatures. A 25-year period of low sunspot activity is predicted, which is supposed to usher in a new ice age! If that is true, whatever humans have been doing in the last 100 years might have been a blessing -- that will slow down the cooling.

These macro predictions seldom go right. In 1974 Time Magazine ran a cover story warning people about the "Man Made Ice Age" that was to come. The cover screamed: "51 things you can do to survive the coming ice age!"

A 2011 warned us to be very afraid about Global Warming.

Now it is back to ice age.

and i thought science was limitless. and science is merely not about object, it is as abstract subject as anything can be, just as you think religion is. hope u have studied some maths to find that out, and please maths is not adding and subtracting. anyways im a disbeliever of all things that makes human useless and will remain so.

Science needs an object and a subject. It studies objects or first objectifies the subject and then studies it as an object, As a result, it will never ever be able to understand, approve or disapprove religion which is all about subject. Knowing the limits is first order of business in science and it is useless in this respect.

Gas price revision a gigantic scam: Gurudas Dasgupta. Do you think the govt is playing into the hands of the corporates?
