We also need unbiased statistics, preferably from secular and responsible national publications -- preferably from outside Gujarat.

Thanks. Are you asking about budget? I have posted my views at budget and politics board. I am reproducing my views here....

PC presented his 8th budget. I don’t know about other states but in TN one need to complete drive two wheeler with the shape of 8 in front of RTO for qualifying driving license. PC has failed in this 8th budget in front of general public audience.

Why should we pay tax for the politicians to loot? Try to AVOID paying income tax as much as possible. Donate poor, disabled and orphan aged poor as much as possible at least some special occasions like birthday and wedding day.

Budget: biggest slap on the face of salaried middle class. PC just fooled them simply leaving tax slab as it is. But actually salaried people might have got DA hike to 6-7% for central and some level for state government employees. Private employees must get hike to some extend at least based on performance. In short they are going to pay more tax as per salary hike despite price rise and inflation pressure. Very pity for them.

PC should be declared as PM candidate by congress for easy defeat.
