Latest stats say that 7.5 lakh shares have been bought back till 23 Nov 2009
Yes, the movement in this counter has been very dissappointing but i am wondering what the promoters will gain if the price of the stock does not go up even after buying back and extinguishing shares worth 20 Crore Rs from their reserves. It will be a total loss for promoters holding approx 60% of the shares. Somehow i am not able to digest the fact that the promoters will let something like that happen even after spending 25% of their free reserves. But for now i guess the buyback is happening in a very controlled and manipulative manner which is keeping the price on the lower end. Anyways hoping to see some positive movement before buyback completion.
