Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has informed BSE that Bharat PetroResources Ltd. (BPRL) a fully owned subsidiary of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) advises that M/s. Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (Anadarko), the Operator of block BM-C-30 offshore Brazil in the Campos Basin, has nnouneed the Wahoo #2 (also called Wahoo North) appraisal/exploration well in the Campos Basin, offshore Brazil, has encountered more than [90] feet of high-quality net oil pay in the same pre-salt interval, as the original Wahoo discovery (announced earlier in October 2008). Wahoo #2 is located in block BM-C-30 five miles to the north and down-dip from the original Wahoo discovery well, which encountered more than 195 feet of net pay.
