United Spirits Ltd has informed BSE that the acquisition of the entire Equity Share Capital of Tern Distilleries Pvt. Ltd. (Tern), a Company incorporated in the State of Andhra Pradesh and engaged in the business of alcoholic beverages with its manufacturing facility at Thallapalem in Visakhapatnam District. The share acquisition is for a consideration of Rs. 13.42 Crores. Consequent to the above, Tern has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
