Environment minister Jairam Ramesh, known for courting controversy and making candid remarks, on Friday said if there was a Nobel Prize for dirt and filth, India would get it.

“Our cities are the dirtiest cities of the world. If there is a Nobel Prize for dirt and filth, India will win it, no doubt,” he said at a function to release a report ‘Green India 2047’ by The Energy Research Institute (TERI).

So when do we have it, the streets lined with trees in whose shade we could see hollihocks and bluebells and a vairety of mushrooms? as in those fairy tale books of Goldilocks... when dear lord.. when?.. I prayed and prayed and in a week`s time Jairam Ramesh uttered this.. so when next do we see all this implemented..

Mr. Minister, get baba ramdev`s advice on which trees to put where to absorb all the pollution from the air?

In the meantime i urge all of you to tell your friends and relatives not to dump trash on roadside, outside your residence and other public places. Fight for garabage disposal in your area at least. I for one oversee all these thing in my locality. What about you guys? Dont be paper tigers be local tigers.

STOP TRASHING YOUR JUNK IN PUBLIC PLACES. STOP! SHAMELESS CITIZENS

Mohankumar,

I get up at 4:45 pm and first sing the vishnu sahsranama along with the casette and then i boil the first milk as i sing SWAGATHAM KRSNA SUSWAGATHAM KRSNA

Then i offer the first boiled milk to Him in return for Favors (???) to the country

And i said i want to see streets lined with trees and flowering plants.. i wnat pollution to be zero and i want a cure for plastic wastes... and lo and behold Jayram Ramesh uttered something

I urge all to offer the first boiled milk in their homes to the Lord of the world Sri Krsna
