National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has informed BSE that a Joint Venture Agreement has been executed on November 19, 2009 amongst NTPC Ltd., Power Finance Corporation Ltd., Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. and Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. for formation of a Public Limited Company to carry out and promote the business of Energy Efficiency, Energy Conservation and Climate Change. In this joint venture Company, all the four promoters shall contribute 25% equity each.
