Power Finance Corporation Limited has informed the Exchange that: "A Joint Venture Agreement has been signed between Power Finance Corporation Ltd., NTPC Limited, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and Rural Electrification Corporation Limited on 19th November, 2009 for incorporating a Joint Venture Company with equal equity contribution (i.e. 25% each) from all the 4 CPSUs. The Company shall be incorporated to carry out and promote the business of energy efficiency, energy conservation and climate change".
