Power Finance Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that a Joint Venture Agreement has been signed between Power Finance Corporation Ltd., NTPC Ltd., Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. and Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. on November 19, 2009 for incorporating a Joint Venture Company with equal equity contribution (i.e. 25% each) from all the 4 CPSUs. The Company shall be incorporated to carry out and promote the business of energy efficiency, energy conservation and climate change.
