i think even a layman can campare both stock, without producing a single unit of power reliance is on 150 levels whereas NTPC one of the the largest producer almost howering on 200-250 levels. see todays rise even there is another addition of 20000 MW in NTPC.. there is no comparison of pvt owned copanies projections..there is no comparison of psu v/s pvt owned companies...... exceptions...

hi Sonubhai--

:) thats a great analysis. but really we cannot compare share prices like this, but a layman can certainly do.(Not to offend you in perticular). in simple languale a stoct price is a division of equity base capital to the number of stock public. such as my company may value 10000 cr but i have a equity public is only 1000 cr and i have 100 cr shares then my single stoct will value 10 rs. so dont go by stock price. theys a wast amount of differnce in prices we take such factors in account. by the way my childhood name is also sone...:)

So, you mean that RelPower is highly overvalued and its actual price should be way below. Is that you say?

BOSS NTPC is a PSU and only a small share is held by public.Obviously it will be trading at that levels. Dont mislead the investors with your half knowledge.

thanks, i think my friends could not get what i want to tell, there is no comparison of prices of NTPC and RPOWER and how they arrived. question is related to the returns only, I mean after having capacity of 28000mw and further projection of 20000MW, its(NTPC) price is only 215 whereas rpower (without having any current capacity) is 152. so it is up to one which angle one see this......

for just a thought,if rpower without having capacity is faily valued what would be the price when it would have the capacity equivelant to NTPC.....

equity base is not mattered to investors then price if i correct.
