HUL`s down trend in this time when overall market is in the uptrend- is not quite un expected. while sopans and detergents are doing well and are facing other MNC players- in tea and beverages the game plan is quite different. What we small investors would worry about, is not the fact that huge profitable brands like Red Label have lost large market shares, but the fact that none on the beverage division seem to have a fix on this tea brands` downtrend. So HUL will contine seeing Tazza, Red Labels, 3 Roses lose volumes in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Indore, Aurangabad etc etc.- and thus overall turnover and profits will habe downward pressure.
