Drug maker, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, US arm has been granted approval from United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Cetirizine Hydrochloride syrup.
The said drug would be available in strength of 5 mg/ml. Cetirizine Hydrochloride (Generic Zyrtec) is an antihistamine. Antihistamines prevent sneezing, runny nose, itching and watering of the eyes, and other allergic symptoms. Cetirizine Hydrochloride is used to treat allergies, hives (urticaria), and other allergic inflammatory conditions
