Ntpc Limited has informed the Exchange that "A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed on 9th November 2009 at New Delhi amongst Government of Madhya Pradesh, NTPC Limited and Madhya Pradesh Power Trading Company Ltd for setting up of 4x660 MW coal based thermal power project in Narsingpur District Madhya Pradesh, by NTPC as a regional project of NTPC, subject to establishment of its techno-commercial viability".
