Heidelbergcement India Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 29, 2009 has inter alia approved the setting up of expansion project at its plants at Damoh (Madhya Pradesh) and at Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) to increase cement production capacity from existing from 1.8 MTPA to 4.7 MTPA.
