Steel Authority Of India Ltd. has informed the Exchange that on attaining the age of superannuation Shri V. Shyamsundar has ceased to be Director on the Board of Steel Authority of India Limited with effect from October 31, 2009 (A/N). Further Shri P.K. Bajaj has been appointed as Managing Director, Durgapur Steel Plant and Director on the Board of SAIL w.e.f. November 01, 2009 (F/N).
