Can there be fire without smoke ? the clarification sent to the exchanges by Sesagoa just states that Sesa has not received any communication from SFIO or Govt ….with respect to the press/tv releases on the fraud reported by ROC to Govt…..but the news of ROC checking Sesa books for GOLMAL has been in news for the past 3 weeks. ROC guys are not mad to send the report to the Govt without any strong case....Fire without smoke ???? So take care of ur investments…..dont get carried away by some guys telling that this co is safe…remember Satyam….no one believed the fraud till it was disclosed by Raju…..it just came down from 400+ to 25 in a matter of few days…..also the world mkt is in a downtrend, FIIs have been selling stocks all over Asia….Nifty could go DOWN to 4700 soon….take care and be wise to get out with strict stop loss /profit…there is a saying in US… 1 dime (10 cents) lost today is better than 1 cent earned tomorrow.

Yes ur exactly correct. But in vedanta corp, our defence minster was joint MD before he resigned and won the election and became the FM in the last term. This guy has got stake in that.

Also, there was a news, way before that (5 days before) his son is shorting the market, and he announced Pnotes problem and the market went down, so once again, is there is some kind of stuffs.

Since sesagoa management is one amoung 5 firms who have raised the stake from 50-57% before going in for qip. (5 out 500 in BSE).

It is the case of ?????????????????????

today the stock moved up due to tech reasons, my guess is many operators who shorted the stock @ 340-335 levels covered up and will offer this stock today in auction for delivery, wait and watch... this will move drasticaly down now, many will be caught off guard then, they will hand over the stock to week hands and will exit then.

dear sw
As far as your message reg sesa goa is concerned I agree fully . In fact I had also advised to stay away from sesa goa and sterlite. I had written only about the saying in Usa. It is perhaps like as under
"one pence save today is better than a dime saved tomorrow."

dear karshin, great to get a reply from u, it goes like this, i was working at Instinet Corp in NY(w w w instinet com) 10 yrs ago, during bear mkt phase they say it`s better to get out of the mkt/stock with 1 dime(10 cents)loss rather with for the stock to give u profit of 1 cent later, hope this clarifies the saying.

yes one should know the fundamentals well But funda is above fundamentals. Fundamentals of Satyam were excellent but funda had eaten away the fundamentals.
