Graphite India reported a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2009. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 43.55% to Rs 684.00 million from Rs 476.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 26.90% to Rs 2,793 million, while total income for the quarter fell 25.94% to Rs 2,859.40 million, when compared with the prior year period.
It posted earnings of Rs 4.00 a share during the quarter, registering 26.98% growth over prior year period.
