I was holding 300 shares of Reliance Petroleum ( RELPET) in my ICICI demat account. After merger to Reliance industries, they have been converted to Reliance Industries shares ( RELIND ) and I got 18 shares. Following are the queries.
1. RELIND shares were allocated with a ratio 1:16 … so what happened to remaining 12 shares of RELPET..
2. Why I am not able to see Reliance bonus shares… I mean when 18 shares of RELIND are allocated to me, than 18 more should have been allocated as Reliance gave bonus share in 1:1 ratio.
3. Can I still sell my 300 RELPET shares?
Regards
Lalit

I also have a similar issue. Not sure what needs to be done. Do you know if bonus allocation is complete by reliance. If so then we can write a complaint to RIL on non - allocation.

You need to wait for 30 days after which bonus shares should automatically credit to your acccount, if not then contact your demat account provider.
