Again fantastic results (?)..
Reserves = 893.21 m on consolidated basis (8 rs per share).
EPS for this quarter = 6.29 Rs on consolidated basis ..
BUT again its because of foreign subsideries ... standalone result is as bad as it can ever be ... and promote holding is only 0.23 %
See the other fantastic announcements below - however please note 1) company still do not have a simple website in today`s modern age .. (it costs few thousands only ...) 2) even with such reserves and all don`t think you will ever get divident here .. not sure what promoters are doing .. (anything other then game ??)
6. We have successfully established a technically sound, state of art earth station around Chandigarh with an investment of Rs. 22 Crores. This earth station has the capacity to uplink 8 TV Channels.
7. Further the company has already got license for KBC News and is in process of getting the approval for its 2nd channel KBC gold.
8. Company has established state of art infrastructure of 50,000 sq. ft. around Chandigarh, which is self sufficient to run its 5 channels successfully. The infrastructure also comprises of 7 studios like Virtual Studio, News Studio, Editing Studio etc.
I being an investor in this script, i have received the communique from the company , and it is satisfying.As an investor we want to see the company flourishing, nothing more.
My point is simple ... they are into media business .. a media company without having a website in today`s era ? sorry its not sinking in my mind..
historically they created 2-3 pager kohinoor.tv website also almost 2-3 years back when the talks about these new channel launch and all were just coming in .. that website vanished (again it was really shitty not that good .. but i though they will improve which never happend unfortunately so far..)
I agree that having website does not mean a company is good or bad .. but there are just too many doubts here .. don`t want to repeat them again .. the stock price hit buyer freeze again today and is now at 9:26 i am sitting at handsome gains already (having my avg price at 6) .. But still somehow i am not convined with the company yet .. and still playing it as gamble only ..
