Gulf Oil Corporation Limited has informed the Exchange vides it letter dated October 05, 2009 that: "The Board of Directors of our Company has at its Meeting held today, appointed Mrs.Kanchan Chitale as an Independent Director in the casual vacancy caused by the death of Mr P.N.Ghatalia.The Board further appointed Mrs. Kanchan Chitale as the Chairman of the Audit Committee".
