Biocon Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the bulk pharmaceutical business undertaking of IDL Specialty Chemicals Ltd. located near Hyderabad, subject to the closing conditions detailed in the said agreement.
yar what crazy analysis. Why would they buy a API production plant because of water scarcity? For the same amount they can buy 100 tankers per day for 5-10 years to deliver water in bangalore, esp after these floods.
sure i do not know the truth but i guess that i might be correct when picture will get clear.they were looking for a plant in vizag SEZ for the same reason...scarcity of water.
now production of oral insulin for indian market and non-regulated market is just few months away , therefore it may be the case
