Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has informed the Exchange that "the shareholders of the Company in the Annual General Meeting held on September 17, 2009 have declared final dividend @80% (i.e. Rs. 8 per share) on the paid up share Capital of Rs. 489.52 crores (in addition to an interim dividend 90% on the paid up Share Capital already paid during the year 2008-09). We further would like to inform that the entire dividend amount shall be transferred and credited to BHEL Dividend a/c with our Banker on September 22, 2009 and shall be paid to all Shareholders on or after September 22, 2009 but within the Statutory period of 30 days from the date of declaration in the AGM".
