they have huge fixed costs(lease charges, salaries, interest etc) to pay whether they fly or not. Added to that loss of booking for next few weeks and some loss of permanent passengers will have impact in its market share and profits in future.
Yes it is good. But what is the reason for this rise. Has the Govt come out with some policy or concessions to this industry? Fuel prices have started rising and yet to utilise full capacities the airlines are offering price cuts.
