Reason:High volume stock; therefore safe bet at low prices; and sell at higher; but don`t be greedy.

Hi I have bought 1000 shares of NIIT on 2nd July , but have not received dividend yet.

Is there anybody else who has not received the dividend till date?

You need to hold the shares on a specified date. Only then you are entitled for dividend. The date was mentioned in the NIIT prospectus of AGM. At the moment i dont remember the date.

and it is given
declaration date is 27-May-09
and effective date is 17-July-09

So if I was holding it on 2nd-July , am I eligible
