Stone India Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has received the "World Record" award from World Record Academy, USA for its indigenously designed and manufactured "Omni-Intelli Pantograph". The company developed this product for Electric Locomotives to be used for hauling double stack container freight trains in Dedicated Freight Corridors.
It is the first such product which has passed all field tests as conducted by the customer and witnessed by the Japanese technical experts. This product will be a major future revenue earner for the Company when Dedicated Freight Corridor of Indian Railways gets
commissioned.
This Pantograph will help in operating double decker passenger train with light electric overhead traction of upto 7.5 meters.
The same design is being adapted for its existing range of Pantographs which will result in better performance and improved product realization."
