Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals Limited has informed the Exchange regarding the following changes in the Directorate with effect from July 27, 2009: 1) Mr. D. Sundaram has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director in the casual vacancy caused by the resignation of Dr. Mark Reilly. 2) Mr. Ajit Nimbalkar has been appointed as an Additional Independent Non-Executive Director. 3) Mr. Peter Bains has resigned as a Director of the Company.
