Both are good. But, Adani IPO is already over-subscribed and for small investors, it is very difficult to get allotment. But, one can try. It is better to go in for it immediately when it is listed.

NHPC is very good stock and try to submit your application immediately when the IPO is open. This way, you stand a chance. Otherwise, wait and pounce on it on the listing day.

Good Luck

Who gave you this false impression that IPO shares are available on first come first basis... I bet NHPC IPO will be subscribed more compared to Adani...
Chances of allottment are better in Adani IPO...

Adani Power has already been subscribed 3.96 times. It looks like the bid price may settle at the upper limit of Rs 100.
Both IPOs seem to be fairly priced and will attract a lot of India-specific overseas investors.

Dear BS: I actually did not mean it as you have construed as "first-come-first-served" basis. What I meant was the chances are less for a small investor of say about one lot or so. For example, if I go in for one lot of 65 Adani shares (whether I go for it the first day or the last day), my chances are very much less in that most probably I may not get even a share or get some shares and not the desired quantum applied for. In my earlier times, there was random picking also practised. Even then, I used to apply for lots in the names of family members and put together, I used to get only a few shares.
