With reference to the news item appeared in the newspaper dated July 16, 2009, titled "Jyothy Labs to exit venture with Ekta Kapoor; Open to equity participation with global cos", Jyothy Laboratories Ltd has clarified to BSE as follows "We clarify that Companys Ekta Dhoop Business was not substantial / significant in volume / value and its discontinuance will not have any significant impact on the operations / performance / profitability of the Company".
