Amara Raja Batteries Ltd has informed the Exchange that the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from July 23, 2009 to July 30, 2009 (both days inclusive) for the purposes of ascertaining the members eligible to receive the dividend if declared at the Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on July 30, 2009. Further, the Company has fixed July 30, 2009 (i.e. the date of Annual General Meeting) as the date on and from which the Dividend on the equity shares of the Company, if declared at the ensuing annual general meeting, will be payable at par.
