V Guard Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 27, 2009 have appointed Mr. N Sreekumar, as the Joint Managing Director of the Company w.e.f. June 01, 2009 for a period of three years, subject to ratification by the members of the Company at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company.
The Company has also appointed Mr. A K Nair as an Independent director of the Company.
Further, Mr. K Vijayan, Wholetime Director of the Company has placed his resignation from the position of the Director of the Company from the close of business hours of May 31, 2009. The same is accepted by the Board of Directors of the Company.
