Union Bank Of India has informed the Exchange that the Register of Shareholders and Share Transfer Books of the Bank will remain closed from June 20, 2009 to June 22, 2009 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of Annual General Meeting and for the purpose of ascertaining the shareholders entitled to receive the dividend @ 50% proposed by the Bank for the year 2008-09. Further, the Annual General Meeting of the shareholders will be held on June 22, 2009, to discuss, approve and adopt the audited annual accounts and the report of the Board of Directors for the year 2008-09 and declaration of dividend.
