The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 263.90 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 as compared to Rs 704.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 11569.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 to Rs 11937.40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.

The results for the Year ended March 31, 2009

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1374.30 million for the year ended March 31, 2009 as compared to Rs 2430.70 million for the year ended March 31, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 39658.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 to Rs 48182.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2009.

The Group has posted a net loss of Rs (1411.50) million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 as compared to net loss of Rs (218.40) million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 29370.80 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 to Rs 42752.60 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.

The consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2009

The Group has posted a net loss of Rs (4305.20) million for the year ended March 31, 2009 as compared to net profit of Rs 1507.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 119354.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2008 to Rs 138104.80 million for the year ended March 31, 2009.
