The Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills Limited has informed the Exchange vide notes to Accounts in the Unaudited Financial Results for the quarter ended December 31, 2008 (taken on record by the Board of the Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 31, 2009) that : "With regard to Auditors observation on the accounts for the year ended 31st March, 2008 and quarter ended 31st December, 2008 on deferred taxation, the matter is subjudice and deferred tax has been provided at the effective rate and tax laws as applicable to the Company, pending disposal of writ petition".
