Jai Balaji Industries Ltd has informed BSE that on December 29, 2008, West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (WBIDC) has handed over possession of 748.97 acres of land in the District of Purulia, West Bengal in the august presence of Sri Nirupam Sen Honble Minister of Commerce and Industries, Govt. of West Bengal for the purpose of starting the first phase of setting up a 5 million tonne integrated Steel Plant, 3 million tonne Cement Plant and 1215 MW Power Plant. The Company has issued a Press Release dated December 29, 2008 titled "Beginning of A New Dawn in Purulia".
