No. The property appreciation leads the budgetary provision by a huge gap. There is not enough government support for building construction. Much more needs to be done.
already it takes 20 yrs to finish all the installments ,,now what do you mean by affordable ?,,,in my opinion 6 months or years installments to repay all the home loans and become debt free means affordable,,
it depends upon supply and demand in the market .The price of property is now beyond the reach of common middle class .Poor are getting Indira Awas . When a Government project comes up the builder and the affluent take advantage since Govt undertakings demand full cost of property at one go
Are you joking or testing our intelligence? Which provisions in the budget will make the property more affordable? Additional interest exemption of Rs.100000 for loans upto Rs.25lakhs , is not going to help anyway until to take the possession of the house or flat. This exemption without limit anyway there for those who let out the property. It helps those people who never utilisied a housing loan and use the house for self use.
There is only 2 things in budget which are aimed at prices 1) Tax incentive on properties less than 40 lakh . (2) Tds on property worth above 50 lakh. People will device roots for this by splitting property in to smaller pices and transfering ownership to many individuals. The correction factor and time every one can guess...............
No - on the contrary it will make it more expensive as there is an increase in the service tax as also the general freight rate hike and diesel hike, inflation will lead to increase in costs. If at all there is any correction it will be due to over supply and unaffordability / lower demand
