Band are strikes are part and parcel of a democracy. You will not find bandh or strike in China and countries alike, Even Mahatama Ga-ndhi , Nehru , Pael had to adopt these methods of protest against the govt which do not respond in normal protest . One should have to take strike and bandh in stride while livng in a democracy, if today one group is giving a call and we are afected, there may be another day when we have to protest like this and that gorup has to suffer, so this is the way of life in a democracy. Like other evils of democracy , we have to swallo this one also to enjoy the freedom
