Lowest fare if booked much earlier and highest fare if booked later does not look appropriate. It should be regulated or at least should narrow the range of different fares

to a great extent it is wecome move . afterall we have only few private companies under the sgment and they may join hands together to enhance air fare jointly

Yes...on one hand Indian Airline companies are declaring huge losses and on the other hand the air fares in India are amongst the highest in the world...with a peak domestic fare of a typical Indian city, I can get a return fare from India to Seattle or Washington DC for better rates!!!
