yes every thing is done for political gain though public may suffer for inflation.The PM has indicated to public to be ready for hike in petro, LPG and power etc in near term.For dev of country or for politicians? govt should go on and public should ready to suffer.

no, they do not operate that way. for such maneuvering you have to have a different mind set. they do for some reasons. now the inflation will be up central bank will not cut the interest rate, which is due for the last 6 months.

Yes, it definitely is, the Govt has been using this tool as means to assuage the farmer vote bank while nothing has been actually done for them to improve their situation on ground.

We utterly lack irrigation facilities and are still largely dependent on monsoon, seeds are not available to them at reasonable prices, they do not facility of cheap credit, mandi laws need to be amended to reduce the middlemen and ensure that farmers get a good price for their produce, lack of adequate storage and cold storage facilities to prevent perishables from rotting are the few things we need to do on emergency basis.
