This rate if compared to the rate in the same month of previous yearf when the rate very low. the comparison is unequal. if the rise continues in future months also we may assume that the economy is on a turnaround path.

Growth is there, but on dismal base figures. Second, there is a huge need to revamp the methods of collection and compiling of these statistics.

It`s a one-off IIP number...........there is more manufacturing due to festival season and soon IIP will be back to where it was !!
