I don`t know ,but one thing is sure KFA will fly again it is a question of ego for Mr Mallya he will not like to be termed as a failure in the airline business or any other business.
Either license is there or not, the banks are expected to recover only 15 - 20% of their money from their charged assets. If license is revived, only rescue option could be "An Angel investor" into the airline. In this bad world no angels are left out.
Banks can recover money if they can lay their hands on those juicy calenders and sell it in the market at a premium. Something moer can be recovered may be by selling the table and chairs.
I only hope that Banks learn something from this and tight the neck of Builders and recover their money otherwise they will loose much bigger amount from Real Estate sector.
if bank given loan to common man or small sector only 10% loan npa.bank not given loan to farmer, they are much better from maliya and they are getting. how much bribe earned bank manager from maliya to get loan? totally corruption.
Why banks lend money to airliners -- only to lose money! Public sector banks have luxury to lose money but ICICI Bank and Axis Bank(under Sikha Sharma) should not have lent shareholders` money to KFA. If you analyze the lending patterns of ING Vysya Bank it has prudently avoided risky sectors and is making good profit without much slippage.
