IPL has always been a shady arrangement filled with only money, that too black money, involving politicians like Pawar, Shukla, Abdulla, Jaitley etc holding powerful positions in the boards. They have ruled autocratically w.r.t. teams and players. They have escaped corruption probes by defying RTI like legislation. 3 of their 4 top teams have bit dust at CLT which too is dominated by IPL. They can only survive with money and I wonder how long will the people of India be fooled by their high handedness in the name of cricket.
Every thing said/thought/done, Mr. Modi ex commissioner of IPL was managing the matters very well. Now there is mess in every area of management of IPL which has corrupted the minds of Cricket lovers not only in India but also around. I feel there is no charm in IPL for now.
IPL is the most entertaining format ever developed in the cricketing scenario it is going to persist no matter how much the schedule gets hectic.
this is also because even players love it as they get heavy amount of money.
and only a fool will ignore such a great opprotunity.
The future of IPL depends on availability of excess of money to spend by certain individuals not about some body`s incapability to afford it. I dont think people are running out of money , just they are running of white money. We Indians who can survive with Rs.34/- a day (according to planning commission) have enough time to waste & fight between each other on the name of places & teams.
BCCI and Indian Crieket control board is totally controlled by people who are not interested in cricket but only in making money and benefit their near one`s.
IPL was doing very well and sharad pawars ego has brought it to the verge of finishing ...........
