Yes, of course, a fit case of DNA which never undergo a change.
Definitely, I remember the sordid saga of 1971 when our valiant and warrior forces under the able leadership of Lt Gen JS Arora (am sorry I do not remember all the distinctions he so proudly got from President of India both in peace and on the face of enemy) had to dislodge the Pakistani forces from East Pakistan (now known as Bangla Desh). In those days, I was posted at Jalandhar and remember the laurels which our brave soldiers had brought to the nation giving each ounce of their blood setting aside their personal interests. It was General Arora who could stand against the half – hearted approach which our politicians and bureaucrats used to make in the matters of defence and issues related force. It was after he was holding one of the coveted operational assignment in eastern force, he was positioned to take care of Pakistani forces which had to had to face the ire and acts of bravery on the part of Indian soliders. You say, brilliant minds in Bangadesh which I do agree. But, I would like to take exception in the instant case ; it is a safe sanctuary for anti national elements who indirectly wage a war of terror against India. Strange but true that, not only West Pakistan even Bangla Desh which was rescued from the tyranny of Pakistani soldiers nurture venom and jealousy against India instead of close harmony with it (India) for assured growth and development of the region. Again, who loses – it is the common man. Politicians, never fail in enjoying their share of cake – be that in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. A rare breed to my mind.
