CAG is not god, even president is not god and as per my theory even GOD is not GOD.Finally in our republic CONSTITUTION is god.Look at struck down of even our president`s dissolution of Bihar assembly it was constitution which restricted powers of all our constitutional authorities including that of president, parliament and even our courts. What is important is d public belief and under current circuimstances people believe CAG much more than anyone. It is this feeling which is forcing RIL to oppose CAG.Not only CAG but a simple news of RIL audit by CAG wl send chill in d spines of all investors.Need not to go further just look at Uniteck,GMR,wherein CAG report forced many investors to exit.RIL is on similar path though it is only KG fields where CAG wl audit not all businesses of RIL but then even GMR has many other businesses other than DIAL.IT IS PERCEPTION WHICH COUNT IN MARKET NEITHER FUNDAS NOR CASH.

kick the in efficient contractor RIL out and give the entire fields to experiend cairn or even its current partner BP who owns 30% stakes. see the outcome within 6 months. the nation will prosper towards its energy security if at all the initial estimated reserves exist.
noises were also coming from PMO that the current minister JR may be replaced during the forthcoming ministerial shuffle. do you think it will be good for ril particularly? i dont think so.
if the new comer take any decision about KG issue by nature then obviously it will get the attention among the watchdog guys like kejriwal, bushans and ofcourse the media even if those decisions not favoring RIL.

The only material RIL needs from its own companies is diesel and some nick nacks. If a petroleum company cannot use its own diesel and rigs sounds absurd although some issue might be raised about a small cost difference which might be disallowed if teh company cannot justify.
The very fact that RIL is better than its international peers in cost and implementation should justify a small technical price decision for expediency.
One can compare with ONGC which despite RIL having started production since 2009 is still grappling with setting up a unit next door. For practical purposes that does answer many questions being raised.
Tondon, whatever be the scope of the audit, i hv objection to the AUDACITY of MA, which shud hv been curbed outright by the govt, but, strangely not being done... And the response by u and others tell the tale as to why the indians, despite being the owners of huge natural resource(not just oil/gas) r still poor.... Theft needs to be nipped in bud... I am just doing my tiny bit and hoping drops might bcom ocean...someday, perhaps....
