In order to control wasteful revenue on LPG, kerosene , Diesel oil curb may come from top ie central /state ministers ., M.P . MLA etc and may be treated as general public for LPG, no additional LPG cylinders may be given than the notfied limit for all. Diesel cars used by leaders may be banned and free fuel may be rationed in order to control waste by their family too.

Subsidy should be immediately withdrawn as this is not a sign of healthy economy. Gas is the cheapest as compare to the other things like wood, coal etc. Hence there is no harm in withdrawing the subsidy on it. So far tractors are concerned, most of the farmers run their tractors on hire basis also and as such directly they are earning money out of it. Govt. may subsidies them in some other ways like giving cheap seeds, fertilizer and pesticides etc.

Country to progress subsidies have to be tackled tactfully. Majority of the subsidy goes to haves and have not do not utilize that kind of volume so subsidy has to given but to only to deserving people

to maintain fiscal harmony as well as correcting the economy Govt has to take hard decisions irrespective of hurting anybody`s vote bank, there should be marked increase in LPG/DIESEL/KEROSENE Prices yes, can reduce petrol prices which will give fillip to govt coffers due to increased sale of automobiles alongwith steel and infra decisions will help in increased sale of steel/cement etc. and employment opportunities will grow also-we might kiss recession goodbye also

whenever revenue loss then hike prices is not the only solution. It can be managed by better management of other resources ........like mines, spectrum, railways etc. We must reduce corruption and looting of government money to solve fiscal problems.

Their maths is wrong, first reduce all types of taxes on petrol, diesel, LPG , then stop subsidies (It is subsidized by the tax money only) gradually and make it zero, bring it to international rates, the prices will stabilize. You have over 50% of tax component in our fuel prices.
