Shares of NHPC were sold to retail investors @ Rs 36/- in 2009. Till date, retail investors had not even recovered their capital amount. Now, what will be issue price of RINL and will retail public get their invested capital after listing ? If they do not get at least their invested capital, then is it necessary to invest in such issues ?

Finally the government kicked off its Rs 30,000 crore divestment programme with the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) IPO of 48,89,84,620 equity shares - a first public issue from the government in FY13 - that scheduled to be opened on Monday, October 15, 2012.
