Yes. The Rupee will break the 50 to a dollar mark shortly thanks to the fii flows and the animal spirits unleashed, consequent to the departure of TMC from the ruling combine.

Unless the fiscal deficit comes down substantially, and unless Government`s profligacy is controlled, the Rupee cannot appreciate. Why should there be an entourage of cars whenever ministers move around.?What kind of funeral expenditure is incurred when a political dignitary dies?.How many ex-MLAs and ex Mps are still occupying Government property? How many ministers owe electricity and telephone charges to the Government.. Politicians are the scum of Indian Society and the biggest evil --Sani-- that has caught the indian society. Sani leaves and changes phase once in a few years. But this Sani is everlasting. When one Sani goes another Sani catches the Indian Society.

Yes, with the Govt shedding it`s hesitation to usher in reforms which were long overdue and coming out the self imposed coma there is only one way our currency is headed and that is North which will cut down our CAD and we will not be importing inflation.

The only thing to be kept in mind here is that the measures initiated by our Govt have lifted the sentiment and the reaction has been a little too positive due to that and if they do not continue with similar actions to lift the economy we will be back where we were within no time.

The momentum will carry it to 48 levels over the course of next 6 to 8 months. Over the next 2 to 3 years however, it will reach 60 to 65.
