Not necessarily. Jairam Remesh is know for hard nut to crack, and makes unfriendly statements too frequently. Probably, he is the culprit for slow growth of mining in India in the last few years, bringing the environmental issues. In a growing economy, Coal, Iron ore are critical for growth, at the same time envioronment should be protected and not a one way traffic. Let us see how he performs in Railways, if he gets in, keeping his historical background.

Yes he is a good option... he will realize the real position of railways.... before railways is going to be ruined ..... consecutive ministers belonging to alliance partners have ruined the railways .... now the organization is in repairable position and Shri Jairam Ramesh will take curative steps immediately ....one astonishing fact that Railway is collecting for express trains for a distance of 300 kms Rs 108/- with seat reservation while the road transport is collecting Rs 194/- you can see the variation ..... the same consumers are paying Rs 194/- for their urgent needy traveling and for fancy traveling with out any purpose they travel in trains

He is a very honest and intelligent Minister, he is an asset to the present Cabinet of Ministers. He is capable to run the Railways with the required advancement and will definitely change the face of the indian railways. Really the best choice of the UPA Govt.
