BHEL is the only equipment supplier to NTPC till yester years. But today situation has changed. It has becom a supplier from the only supplier!!!

That difference should be noticed first!!!!

BHEL is an equipment supplier to NTPC and other power generators. With demand far outstripping the supply, BHEL will not face any problems, in the short run. In the long run, a definite NO because power is very essential for continuing development of the economy of the nation.

how can it? the company has confirm orders to supply power plants . it is the power producers with coal blocks who can lose coal and not BHEL. still even if they (coal alottees )lose coal , some other one will get it and require the equipment. so there is no major problem as far as BHEL is concerned

Yes. BHEL is fundamentally very strong company. When company is releasing the subjected statement regarding no impact on companies operations due to Coal Controversy, they mean it and run their operations successfully without any intervention. Ashweani Bhandari.

NO, how is that possible ? As it is the Govt is under tremendous pressure to cancel coal block allocations, it has already done so in a few cases and some more are under consideration and may be cancelled shortly.

This process will result in further downward pressure on the production of coal which is in any case abysmally low and the Govt had to intervene there too and force Coal India to sign NSA`s with many companies.

BHEL will also suffer definitely due to shortage of coal and this politics over the commodity.
